A Brief history
With the real world Liverpool Football Club vacating Melwood training ground in November of 2020 & the site set to be sold for housing development i felt a need to ensure decades of history for both the club & city did not disappear into the abyss.
I decided to create a different universe where the fabled training ground, a stone's throw from where i grew up, would still be a part of the local West Derby Community.
How?
By turning it into a community centre allowing local amateur teams to use the world class facilities for their own.
So of course that meant i had to create a club - step forward West Derby Warriors FC and the rest is... well it will be.. history.
